I’m a multifaceted musician, embracing the roles of teacher, performer, and composer, with each one shaping how I connect with others through sound. My South African roots influence my voice, and my compositions blend together those cultural narratives with all the rich experiences that have shaped my journey. Living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area, I stay involved in the local music community, playing both my own works and the music of composers I admire. 

Mentoring matters to me just as much as performing and composing. I love working with students, friends, and colleagues as they discover and shape their own musical identities. I love that collaboration fuels my creativity and sparks new ideas. Making music and sharing musical experiences with artists from around the world is something I truly cherish. Together, we nurture a community of creative outliers, building welcoming spaces where fresh ideas can grow and flourish.
